"The Centre of the Heart" is a song by Swedish duo Roxette's 2001 album Room Service. The single was only released commercially in Europe, except in the UK. It was the group's third #1 in Sweden where it remained on the top spot for 4 weeks. It also was a medium-sized hit in other European countries.
The song was originally considered as the first single from the group's Have a Nice Day album in 1999 but ultimately became an outtake.
On 23 February 2001, Roxette performed "The Centre of the Heart" at the break during the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2001.
A remix CD was released to promote the single.
